Summary  
The Manager position plays a crucial role in the successful operation of the theater. The Manager assists the General Manager in the operations of the theater through shift management, training employees, handling guest complaints, opening, and closing of the building and other duties. This position carries building keys and may be responsible for opening and closing the building. 
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities  
  • Oversees theater operations. 
  • Open and close the building, complete nightly paperwork, and prepare/verify shift deposits. 
  • Supervise, train, and motivate all members of the team. 
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to Team Members and provide follow up to ensure efficient operation. 
  • Monitor breaks and other minor restrictions per applicable State Law to ensure compliance.  
  • Directly engages in guest recovery situations and acts as a resource for questions, comments, or concerns for all guests. 
  • Manages inventory of concession items, ensuring adequate stock levels for business needs. 
  • Manages each assigned core theater AOR such as HR, Food & Beverage, Marketing, Film, Facilities, to contribute to the overall operation and success of the theater. 
  • Aide in the management of human resources function ensuring recruitment, selection, orientation, training, scheduling, and performance management functions meet or exceed the company established criteria. 
  • Ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests, and company assets. 
  • Control costs in all aspects including labor control, portion control, and proper stock ordering procedures. 
  • Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements set by the GM, following annual budget requirements, and aiding in controlling theater expenditures. 
  • Enforce safety, sanitary practices, and maintenance to ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances; all health inspections meet required state standards.

Education and/or Experience 
  • High School Diploma required.  
  • Degree from a college or university preferred but not required.  
  • Two to three years of management experience in a theater or restaurant environment. 
Computer Skills 
Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills.

Compensation: $18.50 - $24.00 per hour
