The Coordinator, In-Theatre Sales (ITS) serves as a key operational resource and subject matter expert supporting theatre operations across the organization. Acting as a primary point of contact for theatres, this role provides day-to-day guidance, support, and problem resolution to theatre teams. The Coordinator, ITS is responsible for fostering strong communication and collaboration with locations while supporting performance against MRF objectives and key operational metrics, including SPH, cost of goods, and labor management. Through consistent operational support and partnership with theatre leadership, this role contributes to achieving overall ITS Gross Operating Profit targets and enhancing the guest experience.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in liaising with distributors on day-to-day operational matters including damages, shorts, overages, and returns
- Provide daily support and troubleshooting to theatre teams
- Support the development and distribution of program communications including SOPs, updates, and recipe changes
- Support General Managers in providing clarity, direction, and development opportunities for theatre ITS budget owners
- Manage ITS Vista setup and ongoing support, including item setup, pricing and cost management, vendor management, and promotions and discount configuration
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new concession programs, including standards, SOPs, equipment procurement, and rollout
- Assist with creation and maintenance of concession planograms to support effective merchandising
- Support food expansions and new program initiatives aligned with the Profit Plan
- Support and follow up on monthly CSR execution and results
- Monitor and support ITS Checklists covering food safety, alcohol compliance, and general SOP adherence
- Provide hands-on, on-site theatre support for equipment-related needs and issue resolution
Experience & Competencies
- 2 years experience in a related field.
- Ability to travel and work from theatres, up to 40% of the time.
- Food Safety Certified (Preferred).
- Alcohol Service Certified (Preferred).
- Post secondary education in a relatable field (Preferred).
- Engaged in finding solutions and efficiencies.
- Thrives in a fast paced, results orientated work environment.
- Comfortable in providing/presenting recommendations/advice in areas of expertise.
- Understanding of and responsibility for budgets, targets & results.
- Successful track record in managing/leading within the food service industry and/or successful food service tenure within theatre environment.
