Summary  
The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests at the bar, ensuring proper identification checks, and managing the cash drawer. They will create and serve a variety of drinks, including promoting and upselling premium liquors and food items, as well as highlighting drink and beer specials. Accuracy in pouring alcohol and delivering top-tier service is essential to this role. 
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities  
  • Utilize sales strategies to boost revenue through alcohol sales and upselling of concession items at the bar. 
  • Mix and serve alcoholic beverages for guests and servers, according to provided recipes using proper measuring and mixing tools and guidelines.  
  • Mix and serve alcoholic beverages for guests and servers, in a timely manner.  
  • Manage alcohol inventory and maintain bar organization. 
  • Restock alcohol and bar supplies. 
  • Enhance the bar menu and develop new drink recipes through proper channels.  
  • Prepare garnishes for drinks. 
  • Monitor guests to ensure safe alcohol consumption, minimizing potential issues and liabilities. 
  • Verify guests meet legal age requirements for alcohol consumption. 
  • Process bar orders through cash and credit card transactions. 
  • Reconcile cash receipts at the end of each shift. 
  • Generate cash reports. 
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar area and bar storage areas, free of debris and spills.  
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.  
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience 
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   
Performance Measurements 
  • Bartender functions are efficiently, accurately, and effectively performed in accordance with established policies and standards.  
  • Money is balanced and any discrepancies promptly resolved. A balancing record that meets established standards is maintained.  
  • Good relations exist with guests. Guest problems or questions are courteously and promptly resolved.  
  • Good working relationships and coordination exist with other team members and management.  
  • Company sales goals are consistently met and promotions supported.
